I wrote about CCC GISTEMP and Python 3.2 a few days ago. Yesterday I got around to comparing the results versus the Python 2.6.4 results.

Originally I was using Pixelmator to overlay the results of one onto the other, but David Jones pointed out that the tool/compare_results.py script. This made the comparison very easy.

If you examine the results you can see that there are some small differences. Unfortunately I don’t have enough knowledge of the code to figure out why this is the case (and currently I can’t devote any time to acquiring that knowledge).
